Public Health 2009: an overview of modern medical industry!

The 18^th International exhibition Public Health 2009 has been officially opened on October 13-th at the International Exhibition Center (Brovarsky pr-t, 15). The organizers of the show are: Premier Expo (Ukraine), ITE Group Plc. (Great Britain), GIMA (Germany) and ITE LLC Moscow (Russia).

Vasyl Knyazevych, the Minister of Public Health of Ukraine, while speaking at the official opening ceremony, claimed the highest level of professionalism among Ukrainian medical officers and the technical proficiency of medical equipment produced in Ukraine and presented at the exhibition. He also stressed upon the necessity of drawing foreign investments to medical industry, which has already achieved the highest level of development and is ready to return investments.

Among the VIP guests of the official opening ceremony there were: Leonid Rosenfeld, the vice-president of the Ukrainian Academy of Medical Science, Anna Khermenite, the representative of the Ministry for Economy and Technologies of Germany, Alexander Appelhans, the CEO of Uko Med Gmbh company, and Alexander Goncharov, the Director General for Premier Expo.

Public Health 2009 exhibition attracts serious attention of medical professionals from Ukraine and abroad. For the first 2 exhibition days 6 642 persons have visited the exposition, which is 6,58% more than for the same period last year. This fact proves that our medical industry is still competitive in Europe and is able to produce medical equipment of the highest quality.

This year among the participants of Public Health there are 2 new countries — Southern Korea and Austria.

In the framework of the exhibition a large business program goes on. An international conference SPA & Medical`09, organized by Association of SPA Of Ukraine and Premier Expo, is held at the IEC on October 15—16. The topic of the day is SPA and wellness in the concept of preserving and strengthening the health of the healthy.

The 19^th International exhibition Public Health 2010 will take place on October 12—15, 2010 at the IEC (Kyiv, Brovarsky pr-t, 15).
